Model: A-50B

ONKYO Icon Network Integrated Amplifier With several features engineered expressly to minimise distortion and reduce vibration, the Onkyo A-50 Network Integrated Amplifier is the all-in-one solution to power your perfect hi-fi setup.

Features:

For the Love Of Music:
Onkyo’s storied past of innovation and norm-breaking consumer audio devices is no accident. A company built by and for audiophiles, we’re committed to building the best consumer electronics to inspire the next generation of hi-fi enthusiasts through the universal language of music.

Exceptional Engineering To Power Your Playlist:

A three-stage Inverted Darlington Amplifier drives high current signals with minimal distortion, so your content is just as clear and strong as the artists intended.

Thanks to patented DIDRC circuitry (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry), the Onkyo A-50 Integrated Amplifier delivers a vivid yet smooth and comfortable sound from any musical source. DIDRC is a discrete signal control circuit designed to embody Onkyo’s sound philosophy, used in the analog filter of the DAC. DIDRC’s high slew-rate design reduces noise generated in very high frequency bands of digital sources, resulting in cleaner, clearer audio.

A 5mm-thick extruded aluminium front panel is used to increase rigidity and suppress vibration.

The “oval chassis” with oval press lines strengthens the bottom surface and disperses vibration.

Combined with a fanless design to eliminate noise, a premium stereo DAC (32bit / 768kHz) that reduces distortion, and an extruded aluminium heat sink for vibration suppression, this amplifier provides an exquisite and powerful sound.

High-quality 10000uF capacitors custom-made exclusively for Onkyo, copper bus bar, and rigid front panels further reduce vibration and signal degradation. And with a separate, high-quality phono terminal that supports MM/MC.

Everything You Need For Epic Audio Experiences:

Hardwire your turntable, plug in your CD player, and stream your songs with ease thanks to the Onkyo A-50’s many connectivity options. With 3pairs of RCA, HDMI ARC, MM/MC phono, coax, USB-A, optical, and headphone output, you have all the flexibility

Onkyo Invests In Your Modern Lifestyle:
Your carefully curated playlists play well with the Onkyo A-50 Network Integrated Amplifier. Seamlessly hardwire or cast your content from any of the following built-in platforms: Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music, Qplay, TuneIn, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Roon Ready. The A-50 is compatible with Onkyo Controller, Onkyo’s mobile control app. Various settings and content can be cast from the listening point.

Create Your Perfect System:

The A-50 has an output power of 140W (8Ω) / 180W (4Ω). Although it is a single integrated amplifier, it can powerfully drive a wide variety of speakers, from large floor-standing speakers to small bookshelf speakers, to maximise their potential.

Dirac Live For The Discerning Listener:

Onkyo builds world-class products for early adopters and tech enthusiasts. It’s what sets us apart from the rest, and the A-50 Network Integrated Amplifier is no exception to our commitment to impress. That’s why it comes with built-in Dirac Live Room Correction. With frequency response correction (500Hz-20kHz / full version is an option), multiple playback modes, and more, this highly sought-after feature will elevate your listening experience by taking your unique system and room setup into account.

From Onkyo Academy: The Benefits Of An Integrated Amplifier:

An integrated amplifier combines the power of a standard amplifier with the intelligent signal processing of a pre-amplifier to provide the best of both worlds in one convenient chassis. Input signals from your device (music source) can be controlled and adjusted to your liking – which may vary depending on the speakers you listen through, the type of audio being played, the genre of music, etc. – and customise the experience accordingly. The power amp takes those signals and literally powers them into your speakers.

From Onkyo Academy: Why Choose an Integrated Amplifier:
Many who choose an integrated amplifier are either new to the hobby, experienced audiophiles with limited space for equipment or choosing to maximise performance on a budget.
