NVR K Series Supports up to 4 channels @ 8MP decoding
NVR C Series Supports only 1 channel @ 8MP decoding
For systems using higher-resolution cameras, the K Series is the recommended choice, as it can display multiple high-resolution streams simultaneously without issue.
For C Series NVRs when the decoding limit is exceeded, the NVR will automatically switch some cameras to the sub-stream for Live View, resulting in a lower display resolution on the monitor. This is generally acceptable for budget-conscious cases where full-resolution live viewing is not a priority.
